[users@httpd] Frontpage Server Extensions

Hi,

Webdevelopment wants to have Frontpage Server Extensions installed on our 
Apache servers. What is the downside for this?

Also I see on the Micro$oft web that they support upto version 1.3.19 .. and 
Im running 1.3.27 ... is there anything else I can use ??
