XML Parser doesnt start on Unixware 7.1

Hi ,
I have buid the Xerces-C++ parser on Unixware 7.1 using following option.

runConfigure -punixware -cgcc -xgcc -minmem -nsocket -tnative -rpthread -z-g

I am abe to build the library successfully as 
rw-rw-rw-    1 mbhanush devel       6080572 Nov 25 10:06 libxerces-c.so.23.0

But non of the samples work with the library.
I have tried to run the sample program DOMPrint and it coredumps on the initial 
call XMLPlatformUtils::Initialize()

Following is the stack trace which I got from the coredump

I know the platform on which I had build is not documented as supported one, 
but I have made the application on SunOs5.7 with using this parser and now I 
need to port the product on Unixware. The functionality which I have developed 
using the parser on SunOs is very critical.

Is this very trivial bug or some serious bug which will be need long time to 
fix.
