[users@httpd] unknown filter not added: PHP
I'm getting a ton of these in my main error_log:
[error] an unknown filter was not added: PHP
PHP scripts appear to be working just fine.
I'm using Apache 2 (I'm pretty new to this version).
TIA,
John

OS and version? Relevent portions of your config files? Might be a PHP
config issue? Probably something to do with Apache filters? Have you tried
doing a search using Google? I did "an unknown filter was not added: PHP",
and came up with several hits. Try reading there to see what this message
is about. I did a little reading but am unsure what I'm looking for so I
can't comment any further.

Hi
This is a PHP config issue. We ran into these messages when we switched
from Apache httpd 1.3 to 2.0.
Here's a working config snippet for httpd 2.0 and PHP 4.x:
...
LoadModule php4_module modules/libphp4.so
...
<IfModule sapi_apache2.c>
AddOutputFilter PHP php
AddInputFilter PHP php
</IfModule>
...
