>Description:
I've compiled Apache 1.3.9 with php+mysql support and it compiles fine, but the
combination of mod_ssl/openssl yields a -rpath compile error.

ranlib libstandard.a
gcc -c -I../../../../mm-1.0.10 -I../../os/unix -I../../include   -DLINUX=2 -DMOD_SSL=204101 -DUSE_HSREGEX -DEAPI -DEAPI_MM -DUSE_EXPAT -I../../lib/expat-lite `../../apaci` -fpic -DSHARED_MODULE mod_vhost_alias.c && mv mod_vhost_alias.o mod_vhost_alias.lo
gcc -rpath /usr/local/lib/mysql -shared -o mod_vhost_alias.so mod_vhost_alias.logcc: unrecognized option `-rpath'
/usr/local/lib/mysql: file not recognized: Is a directory
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[4]: *** [mod_vhost_alias.so] Error 1

I went to the previous Apache 1.3.6 using mod_ssl-2.3.11-1.3.6, php-3.0.12,
openssl-0.9.4, rsaref20.1996.tar.Z, mysql-3.22.25, mm-1.0.10.tar.gz and
it compiles fine.

>Fix:
within 1.3.6, no config or makefile doesn't contain any -rpath entries that look like
this:

gcc -rpath /usr/local/lib/mysql -shared -o mod_vhost_alias.so mod_vhost_alias.logcc: unrecognized option `-rpath'

i'm still trying to fix the compile error....(it's now taking too long) ...just
wanted to see if anyone can spot the problem a lot quicker
