[jira] [Commented] (TIKA-2674) Update some dependencies that are incompatible with Java 11

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/TIKA-2674?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=16518162#comment-16518162 ]

Tim Allison commented on TIKA-2674:
-----------------------------------

I'll update cxf to 3.2.4. I was hoping that the most recent version would fix this Illegal reflective access warning, but it doesn't.
{quote}WARNING: Illegal reflective access by org.apache.cxf.common.util.ReflectionUtil$11 ([file:/C:/Users/tallison/.m2/repository/org/apache/cxf/cxf-core/3.2.4/cxf-core-3.2.4.jar|file:///C:/Users/tallison/.m2/repository/org/apache/cxf/cxf-core/3.2.4/cxf-core-3.2.4.jar]) to field java.net.Authenticator.theAuthenticator

Upgrading requires some small changes in our code, so I'll upgrade now to 3.2.4 so that the next upgrade that fixes the illegal reflective access will be easier...unless there are objections.  I was happy to see that the most recent version of cxf's jetty is preventing \u0000 in headers, which is a great idea.
