[jira] Commented: (FELIX-48) Bundle names should conform to the spec and not contain spaces

Richard S. Hall commented on FELIX-48:
--------------------------------------

This issue is being raised within the OSGi Alliance to determine whether it makes sense to have a human-readable field, but disallow spaces. So, maybe the jury is still out on this. Perhaps this can be discussed on the osgi-dev@bundles.osgi.org mailing list.

> The OSGi specification (3.2.1.10) states that:
> The Bundle-Name header defines a readable name for this bundle. This should be a short, human-readable name containing no spaces.
> Currently, we do generate bundle names with spaces. Admittedly, this is done by many others too but I think we should stick to the specifications (even though "should" is not "must").
