Newbie: Torque Vs EJB

Hi All
Can anyone tell me what is the difference between using EJB and
Torque.Should we have EJB as a layer on top of Torque? As far as i know
Torque also does transaction management, i'm not too sure. Please help me
understand this difference if anyone is using both Torque and EJB.
