[jira] [Commented] (CASSANDRA-2987) maven-ant-tasks should have more than one repo defined

    [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CASSANDRA-2987?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=13102872#comment-13102872 ]

Stephen Connolly commented on CASSANDRA-2987:
---------------------------------------------

is this a failure at the <get> to download maven-ant-tasks or is this a failure in the actual downloads of dependencies?

We should be pointing to repo1.maven.org which will resolve via Geo-DNS to the local mirror

> If, for whatever reason, repo2.maven.org is down or unreachable, you can no longer build cassandra (unless you already have all the deps).
