   ## What changes were proposed in this pull request?
   
   This PR avoids usage of reflective calls in Scala. It removes the import that suppresses the warnings and rewrites code in small ways to avoid accessing methods that aren't technically accessible.
   
   ## How was this patch tested?
   
   Existing tests.
