[OT] International Telephone number selector?

Has anyone seen, built or used a jsp and/or Javascript utility for choosing international phone numbers? Similiar to selecting a date from a Calendar?
I need to assume my user does not know how to dial there number from International destinations.
I just thought this might have been done before.
