continuum lock issue

Hi,

I found that adding plexus' root pom.xml on a clean continuum install 
(latest build on the zone) and then running "build all" exhibits the 
locking issues - if that helps in being able to reproduce it?

I think Emmanuel was able to get around this issue using
READ_UNCOMMITTED in the jpox config properties, but it definitely needs
some testing.
