Release Vote about 0.12 RC4

Hi Rapheal,
The vote received 1 +1 binding, and the time is pass 72 hours as I declared
in the first mail.
Should I announce the vote is failed? Or 1 +1 is enough to pass the release
vote?

Hi Sospartan,

Maybe call for a new vote on Incubator. Now. they are back from the
ApacheCon, so you have a good chance to get answer.

Hi all,

You can just download the tarball during the build process. this is done
by many other Apache process. That would probably solve this problem.

Another related problem: Since all binary files and pre-build files were
removed, which
will add more steps to build from source we released. For example, people
have to
install gradle first because gradle warpper is not come with the source
tarball.

Hi sospartan,

I saw this. but the binaries are still distributed over ASF
infrastructure. Gardle is under ALv2 so maybe this is fine for us.
Normally we ship such third party binary outside Apache. But lets wait the
discussion on general@i.a.o.

The binaries were all excluded in this release.
In previous release we do include a gradle wrapper jar and v8 library (a
.so file). I've double
checked this issue in current release. This is no longer a problem. :P

Hi Sospartan

leave it open a little bit longer, remember, many peoples are at the
ApacheCon.

A question about the release. Is it true that you have a binary tar.gz in
the release folder? under witch license are this binaries? As far as I
know, the normal way under Apache is to host such binaries outside ASF
infrastructure.
