[jira] Created: (RAMPART-158) Create a FAQ

Create a FAQ
------------

                 Key: RAMPART-158
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RAMPART-158
             Project: Rampart
          Issue Type: Task
          Components: website
            Reporter: Stefan Lischke
            Assignee: Ruchith Udayanga Fernando
            Priority: Minor

While trying to deploy a WS with Rampart i ran into some already known problems. An FAQ might help to reduce traffic to the ML.

The following Problems popped up at my place:

* adding <module ref="rampart" /> to the service.xml is not enough, it must also be added to the axis2.xml global module configuration

* The Axis2 war distribution does not contain axis2-codegen-*.jar which is needed by rampart runtime

 * An FAQ might help to reduce traffic to the ML.
+1 for the idea. I think this FAQ should go to the Rampart wiki [1] rather than the Rampart site. This will make it easy for people to contribute to maintain it. We can have a link to in the site. WDYT ?

* adding <module ref="rampart" /> to the service.xml is not enough, it must also be added to the axis2.xml global module configuration
This is not correct. You only need to add the <module ref="rampart" /> element and relevant policy to the services.xml.

thanks,
nandana
