Hi,
I have a similar problem.

" First take jetspeed-1.3a1.jar from jetspeed/WEB-INF/lib
unjar it and put your portlet class file in
org/apache/jetspeed/portal/portlets/
then jar it and put it in same folder and create jetspeed.war
register your portlet in jetspeed/WEB-INF/conf/jetspeed-config.jcfg
if you encounter any problem ,let me know.

This way solves problem? but do anyone knows other way?
I registered my portlet in jetspeed/WEB-INF/conf/jetspeed-config.jcfg but
some errors occured, like this: FileNotFoundException.
