[Bug 8123] New: When default prefix text changed, _SCORE_ doesn't report score

https://bz.apache.org/SpamAssassin/show_bug.cgi?id=8123

            Bug ID: 8123
Summary: When default prefix text changed, _SCORE_ doesn't
                    report score
           Product: Spamassassin
           Version: unspecified
          Hardware: PC
                OS: Windows 10
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: spamassassin
          Assignee: dev@spamassassin.apache.org
          Reporter: Olaf@Kraulis.com
  Target Milestone: Undefined

I changed the prefix text for spam to <:=SPAM=:> and added _SCORE_ to get the
numeric value but the subject line of incoming spam doesn't report the score;
it shows the character string <:=SPAM=:> _SCORE_ as the prefix in the subject
line and does not show a numeric score.

What might be the explanation? Is it a bug or have I used special characters
with undisclosed syntactical significance?
