cvs commit: jakarta-velocity/src/java/org/apache/velocity/test ContextSafetyTestCase.java

geirm 00/12/03 17:18:51

  Added: src/java/org/apache/velocity/test ContextSafetyTestCase.java
  Log:
Tests to see if we can do a change of data object in the Context and remerge a template.
Note that this is not a trivial change, such as a different string, but altogether
something more evil, like switching between a j.u.Vector and an Object array.
This is what happens when multiple threads are using the same template with different
data objects in the template, or a single thread is repeatedly merging() with different
data objects. No one ran across it, yet, but we could, and eventually would.
