[~dgladkikh], [~ascherbakov], I have a fix for this problem which will fail a request in case of {{LOST}} partition. Unfortunately, I forgot to push the commit, and will have access to the code in 3 weeks. 
In case of urgency I can re-implement it from scratch, but hopefully we can wait a bit.
