Some XSLTC regressions 2.7.1 - anyone want to figure it out?

I've opened  http://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/XALANJ-2351 to track some
regressions in XSLTC in 2.7.1 compred to the 2.7.0 release.

Many thanks to Yash Talwar for automating (or being seriously involved with
automating)  and running regression tests for 2.7.1 and catching the
regressions pointed out in XALANJ-2351.

He ran the candidate release on:

Solaris 2.9
Windows XP
Window 2000
Red Hat Linux 7.2
.... the list goes on.

and on various version of the JRE:

The regressions in XSLTC were consistent across operating system and JRE
and are seen in the attached html files in XALANJ-2351.  Anyone want to
look into this?
