I'm wondering if the Elasticsearch client offers a capability like Kafka offers to provide configuration parameters as key.value properties. So like we currently support for Kafka to pass through properties. options (see https://nightlies.apache.org/flink/flink-docs-master/docs/connectors/table/kafka/) 

[~matriv] [~alexanderpreuss] do you know if the Elastic client offers such an option?
