Questions about Lenya

Hi,

I am planning to use Lenya in my project.
I have following questions about Lenya.

1. I read in the archives that Lenya does not use slide/deltav as repository currently. So does Lenya use its own repository?

2. Do we have option to store repository( content store) in DB or file system depending on the need?

3. Are there any performance indicators available for Lenya? We found slide to be slower for our requirements.

Thanks,
rd.

We plan to use JCR/Slide in Lenya 1.4. development/checkins will start
after we switched to SVN and made the 1.2.1 Bugfix release. The release
will not go out before we finally left incubation. I think it will be
end of august.....only an est
imate, it depends on how fast we get get the resolution ready :)

Hi JP,

Thanks for detailed reply.

If we wanted to build our content store in DB, does Lenya provide good API?
How difficult it will be?

Yes. Lenya simply uses the native file system of the operating
system using XML files.

Not yet.

There are several large sites using Lenya with good performance.
