[jira] [Created] (SPARK-30290) Count for merged block when fetch continuous blocks in batch

L. C. Hsieh created SPARK-30290:
-----------------------------------

Summary: Count for merged block when fetch continuous blocks in batch
                 Key: SPARK-30290
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/SPARK-30290
             Project: Spark
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Spark Core
    Affects Versions: 3.0.0
            Reporter: L. C. Hsieh
            Assignee: L. C. Hsieh

We added shuffle block fetch optimization in SPARK-9853. In ShuffleBlockFetcherIterator, we merge single blocks into batch blocks. During merging, we should count merged blocks for maxBlocksInFlightPerAddress, not original single blocks.
