connection not closed

Hi,

I'm having a problem when I'm in the middle of a transmission by XMLRPC
and the connection is lost(disconnect cable, reset the other machine).
The problem is that this connection is still alive and I'm not getting
close it, I'm trying to use the method finalize but it seems not working
very well.....
