Just for the record: the attached patch has never been merged. Therefore validating request parameters with Sling Validation requires slightly more effort. But given the discussion in SLING-5726 I think this is actually not necessary and such an adaptation is not something I would expect to work on top of the request parameters (but rather on the underlying resource's value map). I will clarify the documentation in https://sling.apache.org/documentation/bundles/validation.html.
