The closest thing is the old OROMatcher 1.0 programmer's guide at
http://www.oroinc.com/developers/docs/OROMatcher/index.html
And updated guide is on the TODO list and I made an initial attempt
to start writing a new one, but only got as far as starting an outline
and setting up some Docbook placeholders in jakarta-oro/xdocs/manual
(in CVS).  Anyone who would like to contribute documentation is more
than welcome to.
