What to do with open bugs before RC1?
Considering the open 2.0 bugs at

What to do with them? Which shall be fixed before 2.0RC1? Who will take

this isn't really a recommendation but...
we used to mark bugs as LATER in for releases in jakartacommonsland but
after a while the constant marking and unmarking got to be seen as a
little useless (especially for long lived disputed reports) and so it
was abandoned.

The default procedure would be to resolve all remaining open bugs to
LATER. In case there is no alternative proposal I will do so.
