There are several more tickets in a [review] state targeted at 3.3.2.
It would be nice to let pass at least the easier ones.

The patch itself is marked as alpha but the author has been using it in
production for 6 months. Thoughts?

I've reached out to Martin to see what he wants to do but I agree. No
samples makes it hard to test or discuss a bug.

Justin, any chance you can way in on this? It looks a bit like this was
used in other patches and is no longer relevant. However, perhaps it
was something you wanted to revisit again?
