Simple fix - apparently you always need to include the lifecycle-mapping plugin version, even if its defined in the parent.
Works locally.

yup, hadoopqa is broken. this isn't going to change anything, but applied patch seems to resolve this issue. Can wait until we get jenkins working again until we submit though, just to be sure.
