This merge combines the optaplanner and drools repositories at the root level, preserving complete Git history from both projects. All optaplanner modules (optaplanner-benchmark, optaplanner-examples, etc.) are now at the top level alongside drools modules (drools-drl, drools-core, etc.).

Looks like OptaPlanner's README.adoc is overriding the original README.md and is displayed on the drools repo's main page. Was that intentional?

So it seems this is a limitation on GitHub's side only. Here and in github.dev too.
I ran `git diff --stat origin/main..optaplanner-merge-v2` locally and the list of files did show the root `pom.xml` for example.
All good from me!

I have to say it is a bit odd that not all changes are visible in GitHub's diff. I think every change that is within the merge commit itself is actually not being displayed. For example the changes in the root `pom.xml`. Do you mind investigating @kbowers-ibm?

1. I can confirm opening this PR's branch in IntelliJ Idea works fine for regular Java development.
2. I can confirm the Git history looks correct to preserve commit history.
(See all of OptaPlanner's commits in yellow)
