How can we guess that this issue involve RTF export?
Your bug report is being closed as NOT_AN_ISSUE due to a lack of information
which is needed in order to accurately reproduce and confirm the problem. We
encourage you to retest your bug against the latest release. If the issue is
still present in the latest stable release, we need the following information
(please ignore any that you've already provided):

a) Provide details of your system including your operating system and the
latest version of AOO that you have confirmed the bug to be present

b) Provide a step-by-step procedure to reproduce (the simpler will be the
better)

c) Provide any test case(s) which will help us confirm the problem (like a
sample document)

d) Provide screenshots of the problem if you think it might help

Once all of this is done, please set the bug back to UNCONFIRMED and we will
attempt to reproduce the issue.

How has my issue been resolved? If I use ODT format, then convert to RTF
(Sending the document to my editor) this DOES happen, with either quotation
marks or especially with Unlauts.

So saying it is NOT an issue means you didn't even bother to look!

This is an example using 4.1.1:

gThey took our gods and made them missiles!h Zeus snarled. gAll starting
with that minor goddess Nike! Then turned her into a logo for tennis shoes!h
gAnd turned my son into a comic book character!h Odin snarled.
