Your second point is confusing :(
Could you describe it? What wrong with existing HTML5 implementation so it need to be re-implemented?
I thought to move all complex JS stuff to separate module: openmeetings-js for ex.
And use `frontend-maven-plugin` to make it pure JS project with less copy/pasting
