Won't fix; this behaviour is intentional, because using unsynchronized objects (like ArrayList or HashMap) is preferrable over the slow synchronized versions (like Vector or Hashtable).

As I already wrote in XMLRPC-89, it is possible to install an automatic workaround for the parameters. This is not possible, though, for return values. Currently you have two options:

  - Use the ClientFactory, which is able to detect the requested return values.
  - Change your code to expect List or Map as return value.
