Out of resources with Maven 2

Hi

Whilst using the Maven 2 plugin, I get:


Time to build schema type system: 4.889 seconds
Time to generate code: 8.859 seconds


The system is out of resources.
Consult the following stack trace for details.
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space

This is a tricky one to fix. I have already changed my mvn script so  
that Maven is started with 128/256/512mb, and my machine has enough  
memory for this.

I think that the way in which the java process for xmlbeans is being  
initialised means that the heap settings aren't being passed on.

Ideas anyone?
