Storm's Use Case

Hi,

We have a  data source which contains information about telephone users' Internet surfing behavior and we use Storm to count how many apps a user uses and how many users use a specific app accumulative, etc. I do not think Storm fits this scenario. So I want to know different opinions. What are the typical use cases of Storm?
