History

We currently create release branches with version numbers (i.e. 1.3.x, 1.4.x).  If we wanted to move to a single folder for releases (say Production Support), how would we create the subsequent "Production Support" branch and maintain the history from the previous release?

Thanks
Anthony

This is reasonable and not unusual. From those branches you then create the
tags (1.3.0, 1.3.1 etc).

You have two folders, what would it mean to "move to a single folder"? The 1.3
and 1.4 branches evolve independently (at least that would be what I guess
and what would be common) and both evolve independently from trunk. What
would that single folder represent?
