-----------------------------------
Hi everyone,
I'm facing this issue on Ambari 1.7. I saw that this bug has been moved to 2.0 "since it may be recoverable".
What do you mean by that? Is there any way to fix this issue? I did restart ambari-agent but the problem isn't fixed.
Any suggestion?
Thanks.
Regards.

> At times hosts move to Invalid state and restart of components throw "Host role in invalid state".
> One way to fix this issue is to ssh into the hosts and run ambari-agent restart
> http://hortonworks.com/community/forums/topic/host-role-in-invalid-state/
> Ambari web interface being single point to manage cluster must provide option to restart ambari-agent. It looses its purpose if one has to manually ssh into the hosts.
