Thanks for bumping Paimon to 1.4.2. There are still three Paimon 1.3.1 references that should be updated in this PR:
1. **Quickstart still installs Paimon 1.3.1**
- `docker/quickstart-flink/prepare_build.sh` still downloads and verifies `paimon-flink-1.20-1.3.1` and `paimon-s3-1.3.1`.
- The new `fluss-lake-paimon` implementation is compiled against Paimon 1.4.2, whose `CommitCallback.call(Context)` signature is binary-incompatible with the 1.3.1 callback API. A quickstart image built from this PR can therefore fail when tiering commits a snapshot.
- Please update the downloads, verification list, summary output, and `docker/quickstart-flink/README.md` to 1.4.2.
2. **The next-version documentation still directs tiering users to Paimon 1.3.1**
- The `next` entry in `website/fluss-versions.json` still sets `paimonVersion` / `paimonVersionShort` to `1.3.1` / `1.3`.
- `website/docs/streaming-lakehouse/datalake-formats/paimon.md` still says that the Tiering Service requires Paimon 1.3.
- Please update the `next` documentation to 1.4.2 / 1.4. The released `version-0.9` entry and its upgrade notes should remain unchanged because they describe the historical 0.9 dependency.
- The example in `website/community/how-to-release/creating-a-fluss-release.mdx` should also be updated or use a placeholder so future releases do not copy 1.3.1 again.
3. **The Paimon NOTICE still lists 1.3.1**
- `fluss-lake/fluss-lake-paimon/src/main/resources/META-INF/NOTICE` still contains `org.apache.paimon:paimon-bundle:1.3.1`.
- Please align it with 1.4.2 and confirm whether the current thin JAR should still describe this dependency as bundled.
There is no need to revalidate the older Paimon Union Read compatibility matrix as part of this PR.
