Nightly's fail on startup.

I can run the 3.1 release just fine, but when I try the 606 and 609
nightly's they fail, both with jdk1.2.2 and jdk1.3

Using classpath:
d:\tomcat\classes;d:\tomcat\lib\webserver.jar;d:\tomcat\lib\jasper.jar;d:\to
mcat\lib\servlet.jar;d:\jdk1.3\lib\tools.jar
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError:
org/xml/sax/HandlerBase

Any cure for this?

It's not that something is missing in the nightly - if I unzip the nightly
over a working 3.1 release copy, I still get the error.

I understand basic authentication security works better in the nightlies.

This is on a windows 2000 machine - nothing unusual, straight out of the zip
file - set the path, java_home and tomcat_home and let her rip with >tomcat
run

There is a cure for every problem.

You'd need to install Sun's JAXP.
