Xalan 1.4-Xerces 2.2 incompatibility?
Hello, i'm tryin'to install Xalan 1.4,
i already installed the Xerces 2.2 and it works fine.
the problem is when i'm tryin'to build the Xalan 1.4 after doing the
./configure - make session it tells me:
Preparing the directory structure for a build ...
mkdir -p /opt/local/sanxius/apache/xml-xalan/c/src/obj
mkdir -p /opt/local/sanxius/apache/xml-xalan/c/src/lib
mkdir -p /opt/local/sanxius/apache/xml-xalan/c/src/bin
make: *** No rule to make target `/home/sanxius/local/apache/xml-xalan/src/TestXSLT/process.cpp',
needed by `/opt/local/sanxius/apache/xml-xalan/c/src/obj/process.o'. Stop.
... why? any suggestion?

I resolved the Xalan Trouble by setting the XALANCROOT as
export XALANCROOT=/home/sanxius/local/apache/xml-xalan/c
the little bit difference is c.
is this normal the c directory? or it should be fixed?

You are not bulding Xalan-C properly:
http://xml.apache.org/xalan-c/faq.html#faq-7
Also, 1.4 is not compatbile with Xerces 2.2. If you want to use Xalan 1.4,
you must use Xerces 2.1:
