spdlog and fmt are template-heavy libraries and since they are included in almost all of our compilation units, they can have a major impact on our compilation times.

Goal: try moving all spdlog includes to our logging-related .cpp files, possibly by using forward declarations and extra indirections, and see if it makes a difference.
