Unified diffs

Well, I concede. I decided a few weeks ago to try unified diffs instead
of context diffs, even though I believed context diffs superior. In that
time, I've been convinced that unified diffs are, in fact, the better
diff. I notice that most other people on the list seem to feel this way
as well.

Should we take votes on whether or not to replace the context diffs in
the apache-cvs mailings with unified diffs?

I'd vote for unified +1.

Context diffs are still better when you rewrite a function, because you
get a view of what the new function looks like. But more often than not
unified diffs are more useful.
