mixed log messages
Hello Log4j Users,
I have a problem and need for help:
My system is a little bit complex: it consists of more application at the
same time using a Java GUI testing framework, as well and all this
controled by an ant makefile (which has got some java tags with
fork=true).
I have a testing application which uses log4j and logs its messages into a
file through HTMLLayout. It gets its configuration data from an xml file
by DOMConfigurator.
But when the proggy starts the other program to be tested, that tool also
uses log4j. And my log-messages seem to be output through that log system.
So my messages are mixed among more log files with different layouts.
How could I explicitly define where the actual log messages should get
into?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks!
Kind regards,
Csaba Szucs

Look into LoggerRepository and RepositorySelector.
