[jira] Commented: (OFBIZ-215) Search Product Description as well as
Long Description
Jacopo Cappellato commented on OFBIZ-215:
-----------------------------------------
If I'm not wrong, the searches are done against the product's keywords, so this should be a rather trivial work to patch the service that creates the keywords to also consider the long description.
However, this would cause a *lot* of keywords generated... for this reason in my opinion the current implementation is better than the one you propose.
Are you going to submit a patch for this so we can review it? If not, I think we should close the issue.

> Currently the search feature is populated from the Long Description, but not Product Description.
> If certain terms are used only in the Product Description but not Long Description, the search returns no results.
