Sorry [~jayunit100] I didn't mean to highjack your issue, since it's not exactly what I am working on right now.

Once  SOLR-14789 get's merged, we would love your insight on and help with making Solr more cloud native.

Splitting the other efforts mentioned here into separate issues under the Umbrella Solr Docker issue (SOLR-14168)
