[jira] [Comment Edited] (INFRA-7209) write access to Log4cxx committers for published project site

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Thanks Jake, AFAIK the previous content got generated via maven and Christian said he manually committed the generated content to my former mentioned place in the repo. The new contents are static files created by maven and Doxygen as well.

Sorry for the newbie questions, but I really don't understand what I should do next and how I get the content were I want it to...

>From my understanding svnpubsub is a server side tool. How can I change how it works or were it publishes our contents? And what about the current URLs which already point somewhere with content? We have https://logging.apache.org/log4cxx/ and http://incubator.apache.org/log4cxx, with the latter beeing a redirect to the former. Should I create the site or site/publish dirs in our repo on the same level like trunk etc. and simply commit the contents which maven and Doxygen generated?

Could you please provide a more detailed explanation? Thanks a lot!

> Hi,
> the Log4CXX project is back in the incubator and would like to publish an updated project site to conform to podling branding, fix bugs on the site itself etc. The project committers currently don't seem to have write access to the needed svn tree under https://svn.apache.org/repos/infra/websites/production/logging/content/log4cxx and our mentor Christina Grobmeier is unavailable for some days.
> Are you able to grant us write access to this directory? Thanks!
