Publishing Release Artifacts

Any recommendations for publishing the release Artifacts?

Is it sufficient now to copy them to 
/www/www.apache.org/dist/incubator/river on people.apache.org?

Or are there any other steps that need to be taken first?

Any takers for updating the Apache River website?
