[jira] [Updated] (OAK-1243) Upgrade fails if source repository is broken

Jukka Zitting updated OAK-1243:
-------------------------------

    Component/s: upgrade

> Upgrade fails if source repository is broken
> --------------------------------------------
>
> Key: OAK-1243
> URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-1243
> Project: Jackrabbit Oak
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: upgrade
> Affects Versions: 0.12
> Reporter: Jukka Zitting
> Assignee: Jukka Zitting
>
> If the source repository has inconsistencies (missing child nodes or binaries, etc.), then the upgrade code will fail with an exception. This is annoying if the problem only affects a few isolated nodes, but still ends up breaking the entire upgrade that may last hours to execute. A better approach would be to log warnings for any encountered inconsistencies, and continue with empty placeholders in place of the missing/broken content.
