R6026-pure virtual function call

hello,
i'm trying to transform some xml file with xalan but i
get "R6026-pure virtual function call" when executing
the line 
theProcessor.process(						theInputSource,
		theStylesheetSource,
		theResultTarget,
	        theConstructionContext,
		theExecutionContext);
The same problem occurs and when running the
SampleTransformation example from the "sample" folder
from the destribution. I've downloaded the latest
versions of xalan and xerces as well
