JIRA Wiki syntax

Hi everybody,
I've realized that the JIRA instance of Struts project allows only
comments in plain text format.
On the contrary the OGNL instance is able to handle comments in wiki format.
Looking the footer, it looks like is the same JIRA instance
(v4.3.4#620-r15266), so I'm wondering why we can't use wiki syntax
(maybe it's just a simple matter of configuration).

Crap. Nobody else has been able to either. Even Google+ didn't help.

There never be 'the best time', I'm leaving in few minutes, so from

I have admin, yes. I *think* I have enabled wiki comments. The UI is
pretty confusing, though, so please check. It seems to want to do a
reindex now, but it also says that will make JIRA unavailable to
everyone, so now doesn't seem like the best time.

My mistake, I've been thinking about Confluence :P

Struts is using the same instance as Ognl, so it must be per project option.

I was wrong; just checked the JIRA docs.

(That might be the wrong version, though.)

I don't know which for the renderer. I /think/ project, but don't recall...

Hi Dave,
do you mean JIRA admin (INFRA team) or JIRA project (Struts) admin?

it, but don't recall. (I actually brought this up several years ago, IIRC; I
like having markup available.)
