Whilst updating the CommandLineOptions for release 1.3 on the wiki, I noticed that the above class does not exist in the expected location in /src folder. Having looked further afield, it appears that this class (which is meant to convert Nutch 0.9 WebDB to 1.3 format WebDB) does not exist.

I think you are correct Markus, I will submit a patch for removing the class from bin/nutch script when I can.
For reference some history in the CrawlDbConverter class can be found here [1]. It was last inclduded with Nutch release 1.1 and RC 1.1

I'm not sure we need to reincorporate this converter. At least, we still hope to launch 2.0 this year, right?

I tagged this as linkdb (which I am aware is inaccurate) as there was no other suitable option available.

+1 for simply removing it from the script. In the unlikely case people need to convert from the old format to the newer one, they can simply pull Nutch 1.1 to do that then use 1.3.
