  Hello Team,

Please provide your input on this following error below.

As i am new to phoenix.

ERROR [RS_OPEN_REGION-region/Server_Name] coprocessor.CoprocessorHost:
Cannot load coprocessor LocalIndexSplitter
ERROR [RS_OPEN_REGION-region/Server_Name]
regionserverRegionCoprocessorHost :
org.apache.hadoop.hbase.regionserver.LocalIndexSplitter is not of
type RegionCoprocessor. Check the configuration of
hbase.coprocessor.region.classes

I have upgraded the cluster with HBase Version from 1.2 to 2.1.0 and

Hello Viraj,

Not able to create connection getting below error.

org.apache.haoop.hbase.NotServingRegionException : SYSTEM.CATALOG is not
online on server ,16020.

I have perfomed this upgrade as I move from CDH-5.14 to CDH-6.3.0 using
parcels.

HBase is upgraded to 2.1.0 from 1.2.

Phoenix compatible version with HBase is 5.1.0. so downloaded from Apache
phoenix site and placed phoenix server jar in /usr/lib/hbase.

Please suggest if anything need to change in hbase-site.xml and how I
update System tables schema.

Thanks,
Ankit Joshi

You can execute "EXECUTE UPGRADE" SQL command on sqlline just like any
other SQL commands.

Hi Ankit,

This coproc is no longer in use and should not be loaded. System tables
schema looks outdated.
Can you please let us know how you performed this upgrade? Have you run the
"EXECUTE UPGRADE" command after Phoenix 5.1.0 server side upgrade?
Thanks
